Litecoin Glitch Ordinals

Litecoin Glitch Ordinals

About

We are excited to announce a new project called Litecoin Glitch Ordinals. The idea for this project came to us when we saw a message popping up about Ordinals on Litecoin. We quickly jumped into Github for the Litecoin client, synced the entire chain, and installed the ordinal client for it which also was already forked and ready.

While the sync was running, we had an idea to quickly create 50 colored Litecoin logos and coded a script to generate the SVG files. However, in the speed of coding, we created the logos on a white background and did not notice a white bubble glitching behind the main logo instead of fitting it.

We successfully minted all 50 logos and realized that the automatic generated color names did not fit 100% for all the colors of the logos. However, we believe that the glitches and errors actually add to the project's charm and make it unique.

The color names are written into a color attribute in the SVG code, so they are fixed and also count as a glitch now. Two of them are even more special, mint 732 (Black) and 843 (Mountain Meadow), as they have a glitched generated hex color code. These two logos have only 5 and 4 character length hex codes, respectively, instead of the standard 6 for a valid color.

All of the Glitch logos are sub 1k on Litecoin Ordinals, from Inscription ID 668 to 865. We hope you will join the glitch train and enjoy the uniqueness of this project.
